What I'll never get over is how the devs of Volcano High were so entrenched in politics they denied themselves success at every turn.

Boom, good will. That professional response could have netted them sales, but I suppose the extremist audience they were trying to court would have turned on them for lgbt erasure.

Honestly, if I were a savvy business man I would have retooled it as a high budget snoot game and got some of the people on that to oversee it for the potential sales and goodwill... then again, the blackrock bucks were still flowing at that point so perhaps they did the safest play they could. I guess thats how it goes when you claim games are an art but take the safest route and do the socially accepted thing at the time.
