They have literally made an Engineer be able to plant their ass inside a vehicle and have things auto-stabilize without needing a tool out, as if they're basically giving health regen to vehicles. It was happening sooner with BF1 where you had to press a button and started doing it manually, but fundamentally the entire activity point of the Engineer is basically pointless; just have one in your squad ride shotgun and hope you don't take a rocket.
