Been playing since Vietnam. Missed out on 1942 and Desert combat. 2 was my favorite, 2142 was fun, BC:2 was good too. 3 and 4 were fine. Didn't play 1, and V's main issues were mainly tied to no dedicated servers, so no community at all. The tank gameplay in V was genuinely interesting compared to the other games but the ability to choose your vehicle (started with 1) fucked the balance pretty hard. You had to angle your shots and shit
