I liked it in the beginning with how they displayed certain morbid acts with just a bit of blood, bones, whatever with only a few pixels. It certainly has lost all charm for me personally with how gratuitous the guts and gore is. I'll watch every fatality for context when a new game or dlc pack comes out but that's about it for me. I can see the appeal for some, edgy as it might be. I'm just never going to be hooked by the body horror they keep putting out again and again. For context, I've played them all up until MK 10 with Deception being my favorite due to the goofiness from Konquest mode.
