how noobs think FPS works:
>I see the person
>I shoot him
>can't see him? can't shoot him.

how FPS actually works:
>I remember this map layout it's physically impossibly to get to location XYZ but my bullets can reach it.
>at this exact timestamp if the opponent is moving top speed he will *always* end up at this location without fail 100% of the time
>hmmm maybe if i angle my gun there ahead of time I won't have to see him at all
>yes it worked! right on schedule, onto the next? it worked too! because they literally cannot move beyond that point because of how speed works heheh distance over time! and it's this exact time so therefore it's this exact distance!
>let me just blindly put my bullets where the enemy is all the time since everyone who plays FPS is constantly rushing in
>line it up with this exact pixel on the texture of the wall woah three headshots go figure (i can do this every game)
>make sure my flashbang hits this piece of geometry at exactly 1:18 seconds-- woahhhh everyone got hits
>don't even need to aim just make sure my bullets are straight with recoil, (I played a million hours of FPS so i do this automatically.)
>yep just hit every piece of that blade of grass at 2:57 yep that's three kills.
