This is true. But for Remedy they got the entire game funded and paid for and are now using those assets to produce Control 2 and Max Payne Remakes without Epic being involved. It kinda fucked their sales on AW2 but I think it expedited their development process on their next couple games. You can tell how many assets in AW2 were there just for later use, like the flamingos, hospital stuff, all the new York stuff. It's no coincendence their next 2 games take place in New York
