If the Knight's ENTIRE body was Kris's soul, I'd go for that. But the Knight, in literally 5 seconds, INSTANTLY dissipates 5 years of speculation by spreading its chest cavity wide open and showing you that it isn't some super cool homunculus piloted by Kris's REAL soul or something. Just like the green pippin shitting on everyone's Mike theories, there are actual, literal responses to fan speculation in the game.
