Demon's Souls is easier. The exploration is also less convoluted, because in DS1 everything has to connect to each other to give you shortcuts.

How is using an incredibly slow weapon, which leaves you open to getting swarmed or stunned by quick attackers cheese? Fighting dogs and rats is really annoying with it.
