Which RTS does not have that? If you can't stop an early rush in any RTS you don't see the late game.
From age of mythology with athlantean rushes, to Age of empires, where people aggro from the first age, or maybe starcraft 2 which had 6 pool evolve into canon rushes, proxy marines...
I don't think I have ever played a RTS where the early rush is not the first hurdle every player has to overcome.
