I cant speak for Joost, but Ella Freya lives in Japan which is the main issue. Japan doesnt have as big of a mocap industry as America does. And American companies are going to just use someone local instead of he unless they really wanted specifically Ella Freya
It basically leaves her with only games from Japanese studios that specifically want a white girl as the face model which really limits the possibilities to things like Resident Evil and not much else
I dont know Joost's situation but I imagine it's similar with very few opportunities for mocap in Europe.
