You're correct, and it doesn't diminish my point. "Venture capitalists going full retard and potentially kickstarting the end of the world" is not anywhere near as far-fetched as people think (considering most of the American global elites are unironically in a fucking death cult who thinks war in the middle east will eventually bring about nuclear armageddon there and that will somehow be what kickstarts the fucking rapture), and especially when the rest of the core aspects of the fucking games are tens of times more far-fetched and quite literally impossible in the first place. It would be like suddenly having issue with there being a mutated subspecies of deathclaw that actually COULD roar, or being assravaged beyond belief that there could be a new type of mutant variation of electric eels that become amphibious and zap your ass out with radioactive electrical shocks.
