Dude I swear. All those retard spouting "babby's first metroidvania, where literally everysingle aspect of it is better and more complex than in any metroidvania ever made.
Metroid has one weapon, shooting. You get the missile shooting that opens red doors, the laser shooting that opens purple doors. Yet somehow HK lacks weapons.
Bosses are zelda-like where you just repeat the easy pattern, hit the weak point three times and you win. Your options are jumping and shooting. HK has crazy action packed bosses where you dash and bounce everywhere, cast spells, heal, reflect attacks in a bullet time fashion.
Castlevania SotN bosses are mindless HP sacks that ignore you and just spam aoes for you to avoid. You have jump and attack. Oh but the attack has different skins because the game has lots of weapons. You can have a skin that takes the whole screen so it takes no skill!
Neither game even HAS platforming. At no point are you required to overcome difficult traversal, you just keep walking. Oh wait no, Castlevania has the clock tower, that's one platforming section, and only due to medusas, not actual platforms. HK has plenty of tricky labyrinths of spikes you have to dash through. And let's not talk of the white palace. And still /v/ will tell you HK has bad platforming and level design and Metroid's is amazing, somehow.
