For anything that might help a right winger, it might also possibly help *those people*, whoever that might be at the moment. Obviously that won't do because that violates the 2nd most important rule of conservatism that the low and the out-group should never enjoy the same benefits as the in-group. Right now my state is ordering the removal of something that can come in many forms which is a proven major boon to traffic safety, just so they can get rid of the ones that have to do with gays.
