Keiichi is still important as the protagonist of course but the girls are the ones making things happen. Out of all the stories I would say only Tatarigoroshi is primarily focused on Keiichi and male experiences.

The anime plays up the fanservice just like it plays up the bloodshed. The only real fanservice in the VN is the Angel Mort stuff and some of the punishment game penalties, which is all basically an extension of R07 using Keiichi as a mouthpiece to talk/joke about otaku and doujin culture shit.
