i did the curse ending today and you're just retarded. there are bosses that put you in random situations (like beastfly) and there are formulaic pattern-based ones like grimm, radiance, and gm silk. the latter is far easier to take no damage on, and keep in mind that everything in silksong is balanced around not having an iframe dash which makes it much more forgiving. doing less damage literally doesn't matter because you are just responding to patterns with the same predictable answers for longer.
