Saying "Nintendo owns a Patent on Summoning" Is like saying "F1 owns a patent on their cars, So they should sue Monster Truck cause those have 4 wheels too"
For this specific example, Among the Claims, it has to be a 3rd person game, where you control a characters on an open 3rd environment, summon a sub-character that can act independently of follow commands you issue tru the sub characters in an environment it will go and fight another character than you can then captures. You have to be able to issue orders to the sub characters using the main characters (which you never loses control off)
Amd this is just the 1st 6 claims, out of 26.
