It's weird. Like, I get Kris and Asriel. But come on, even in canon they are consistently described as best friends. Sure, Asgore and Toriel treated Chara like their own child but that can be just as true for a stepwife/son. Again, they knew each other for what can't have been longer than 1-4 years unless you want to argue Chara tried to off himself as a 4 year old.

Man, the Sans fanbase facinates me. I like him as a character well enough, great boss fight as well, but him becoming a tumblr sexyman still baffles me. Honestly, even Papyrus makes more sense to me since at least he has the whole golden retriever thing going on.
