Le morals are actually bad. Le villain is actually right. Everyone is either tryhard cool or tryhard ridiculous. The concept of tropes as building blocks. Subversion for the sake of it. Wastefulness, degeneration etc. Postmodernism. The fact that a growing percentage of people interested are self-absorbed identity farming queers. Lack of genuine passion. Lack of vision. Lack of talent. Above all is preoccupation with sex as identity and being in intimate relationships with people. It feminizes men and hijacks the brains of women. Once that kind of sex becomes a focus in any story it becomes this pervasive influence that diminishes the actual romance of fantasy, instead people start engaging with their dicks. This became more of a problem with visual media like games and obviously TV, but now it's seeped into shit like D&D, which was the wellspring of all computer RPGs, so now that's fucking corrupted by it. Anyway, play Ultima. Old Sierra adventure games like Kings Quest or especially Conquests of Camelot were good too.
