>The "incurable rotting sickness" is what Malenia and her ilk have, a spiritual disease, not people who are just infected with the fungus. It's not just "gameplay mechanics" that you can cure the infection with a bolus or a spell, it's lore.
This is pure headcanon and nothing in the game supports this. Cleanrots Knights rot is specifically mentioned to be inevitable, if Miquella could just cure them the entire time but doesn't do it for the lols he's a piece of shit which you obviously don't think is true. Btw, Freyja actually still has Scarlet Rot, it's just been suppressed, and look at what Boluses are made out of
>No, I'm assuming that ONE npc was wrong for very plausible reasons because she has ONE LINE that contradicts what everyone and everything else says about the subject being discussed.
You also need to assume that Ansbach is lying about challenging Miquella which directly contradicts the remembrance.
>No, it's only proof that there are moron contrarians who intrinsically hate anyone that dares to suggest that a person's whims and inclinations may be bad.
No it means that there's so many gaping holes in the narrative and contradictory elements that with enough headcanon any interpretation is technically valid. Your view on Miquella is no less valid than someone who thinks he's an evil mind rapist, and a lot of that has to do with how you headcanon away certain discrepencies, like Mohg's role in his scheme which is never explained, or the entire vow slop. There are so many critical details missing to even have a basic grasp of his character that Miquella is basically a mad libs where his character is whatever interpretation you like best
