It's actually a fairly common issue with a lot of OLED panels, in particular sourced from LG. Usually only starts happening after extensive wear has built up after 6~8 years of use, as that when the overdrive becomes too much for pixels and they just burn out, as per >>723901836
But it can also happen as early as 2~3 years of use, if it turns out you lost the panel lottery and got dealt a monday morning or friday afternoon sample.
