This one irks me. Not only does it not allow you to fail. I am pretty sure almost every quest has only 1 possible way to finish it. No matter how much you will antagonize whoever is involved, if the NPC is required down the line, they will just refuse to attack you, and the opposite is also true. No matter how much you will try to suck up to someone, if they needed you to fight that NPC, fighting it is.
Its literally a bad visual novel at this point.
