Meru is also a decent option for lower floors, but is squishy and needs babysitting heals.
If you have both of the gamer girls leveled up, their ex skills get DoT when in the same unit. Would not use them at low investment though.

what gets me is they make basic skills have huge cooldowns even when they're shit. Would be cool to see an otherwise weaker unit that has a quick basic skill that does the mass of their DPS, or a student that hyper-buffs basics or whatever, definitely could be made interesting if they wanted to
