Koreans literally demand pay to win in their games. Throne was a shit game but it failed in the west and in the east for entirely different reasons. It failed in the west because it was a bad game, it failed in the east because it wasn't p2w enough and they threw a massive shitfit on inven over how whaling doesn't reward the player enough because you can't do things like 1v80 an entire guild if you have the money to do so.
This is why they still play lineage and lineage 2.
