Ever since I started using Linux I've gained a renewed sense of joy for vidya.
Obviously it isn't perfect nor it is a full replacement for Windows if you wany to play all games, but I've found that usually the only games I can't play are only the sloppiest of slops which I wouldn't care for anyway.
Most new games that are worth a dime are playable on Linux.
So in a way, Linux has helped me filter shitty games and don't waste my time, money on slop.
