If you are just a gamer use bazzite or pop os. If you want something more corporate backed use one of the fedora atomic distros https://fedoraproject.org/en/atomic-desktops/
If you want absolute power and control over your distribution then use nix/guix, but I don't recommend it for anyone who isn't familiar with linux and packaging in general, nix is the end game and useful for more than just "OS", unironically it can land you a job.
