There’s enough new stuff in Rebirth that kept me hooked. Also, I really enjoyed how expanded some of the sections were - Junon and a few others come to mind.
But just like you said, I guess I’m the minority that really wanted the game to take its own direction, since that seemed to be what the ending of Remake was all about. Fingers crossed they really lean into it in 3.
