I would recommend citra nightly as a 3ds emulator to play fates (conquest and birthright) then either openemu or visual boy advance to play fire emblem sacred stones.
Engage is the peak of fire emblem gameplay and all the newfags ive given the game to dont like it so you need at least a little bit of chest hair before you play engage.
Yes 3h and engage and 3 hopes are the only switch titles but the switch online subscription plan lets you play shadow dragon (marths game) and blazing blade (lyns game) on your switch.
