I am fundamentally offended at a base level, because Halo: CE was an incredibly designed game and stands out as a masterpiece to this day.
This remake crystallizes every single thing that retards who didn't get CE thought about it, and abandons everything that made it so good.

Grunts don't seem to have morale, enemies don't stumble when being shot at, sprint exists so advancing no longer has you doing things all the while.

Map geometry has all been changed, even the most iconic fight in the game, the Silent Cartographer beach push, was reworked and broken up.
>fun weapon set that was very well balanced up to and including heroic (if we ignore plasma pistol spamshot not having a fire rate cap)
AR has 32 rounds and is accurate, plasma rifle melts flesh targets just as well as a bullet weapon, plasma pistol's charged shot tracks way better
>legendary weapon visual design which felt like proper scifi instead of generic military shit, paired with smooth first-person animations that flow together giving the game a great base feel
Weapons are now all greebled up, looking like everything else on the market. Animations are now all awkward and stilted (that pistol reload animation, jesus christ). AR is no longer a pulse-rifle tier bullethose.
>mysterious atmosphere that feels pulled right out of a scifi novel
Everything is generic shiny UE5 slop with default lighting. Sprint through areas so you don't need to stop for any atmosphere
>subtle, minimalist cutscenes that made deliberate use of minor actions to characterize chief
