I don't give a shit about getting those jobs. That's the thing. They would have to come to me and make ME an offer. But I'm a nobody to them with no track record. An idiot savant if you will. Someone who knows what people actually want or need but no leaver to get there. The thing is, the c suite isn't filled with people who will answer that question. The people who get in those seats are only there because they promise to increase the value of stock, not because they want you to make the right decisions to improve the health of the industry you are in.
Ultimately valve is dogshit. But it would be much worse than even now if it was a public company. So much so that people have no idea.
