Unironically, Nintendo.
With these developers essentially making clones of Nintendo games that obviously became the criticism that it was "just" a copy of Nintendo's in some way.
That riles up the anti-Nintendo posters who feel obligated to defend these games because they feel like it hurts Nintendo and their fans to do so.
