Many companies don't understand modern market prices nor economy, specially japanese ones.
They think that under the mask of "inflation" or "standard prices" they can ask you the same amount of money as RD2, Elden Ring and things like that for any garbage they put out.
And in an era of high competition, indies and AA, you can not, you can't ask the money you are asking for these kind of cheap products. You can't ask $80 for a cheap anime game done in 2 years when that's the same price the biggest AAA release at, most people are not that dumb.
In this case, no one is buying a fucking port of Xillia at $40. it's just a port of the ps3 game which has been sitting at $20 after the year it launched and goes on sale often. It should have been $40 for a game with both Xillia 1 and 2 at best.
