It is naive to think so, most people don't believe they aren't playing with cheaters in Tarkov just because they aren't directly targeted when for most of the games life span the connection to the server was unencryped and user position data could be read undetected with a laptop and an app so everyone had access to a free radar.
Now it's just the worst because the cheats developed faster than the Russians could edit their unity spaghetti.
The best time to play is to burn out in the first 3 months when there's enough saturation from naive normal players to enjoy the company of before the rest of the zebra herd dies off and only cheater scalp everone.
Soderland just keeps failing upwards with finding the right investors to scam.
