Absolutely loved the game but legitimately stopped dead in my tracks in the final dungeon right before the final boss because 1) I had already maxed out my characters weapons (the real drive for me to play the game) and 2) the villain being some gay rabbit completely drained me of any motivation to continue playing.
Still a great game. Definitely has a bit too much going on but is ultimately greater than the sun of its parts. Monica's Monster Transformations are trash and the Fish Tank bullshit are extraneous examples of the game not knowing when to dial things back. Yet it was mad enough to give us Spheda and I can forgive it.
