They can call it whatever they want. A bunch of people in my position have died on that mountain, and I'm not one of them. At best I would have had a controlled rub and crash into the hillside or rail without it, possibly after catching the brakes on fire or melting the tires. And I claim a critical difference was working my ass for, and not even getting all golds on GT3 and 4 license exams.
Being able to feel when I had traction, and the exact point I lost it. NOT overreacting when I lost traction, and easing back into it. Braking unweighted just stops the wheels and NOT the car, and do NOT just stomp the brake or you spin when you get traction back.. Remembering that when I've lost traction, that my car orientation, my wheel direction, and my motion were not going the same way, and SLOWLY rotating a little.
