>anything you would have loved to include?
Gameplay could be slightly more action-y than Dark Cloud 2's, but I say slightly because I feel like turning it into a straight up action game would just made it feel too different, what I truly would love to see is an even more involved town building system, Dark Cloud 2 was really on the right track but I feel it can be even better by adding some stuff like a job system just to make an example
>every time you go into a dungeon there's a chance the town gets attacked by monsters
>if you have no Guard NPCs you will lose some materials
>you can of course choose the jobs for the NPCs you have
>however you need to interact with the NPCs to see what they would like to do
>an old lady for example would absolutely be shit at being a guard, so even if you force her to be a guard she won't do shit
>some guy might mention in their dialogue that he hates violence, turning him into a guard will have the same effect of not doing shit
>but not only there are NPCs that are fine with being guards, there're also a couple of very specific NPCs that WISH to be guards, something that you would only know by speaking with them
>not only will they defend the town, they will also give you extra materials by looting the monsters they kill
