Yeah I would probably add some form of trap/stealth system to the dungeons, and some level of platforming (i.e. the player can jump, but there is no gain in elevation, only allow the player the jump over pitfalls, similar to dark souls)
Overall just to bump up the threat level of dungeons beyond button mashing
