It really depends on what kind of grinding we're talking about
>grinding for levels is inherently shit, bashing your head against the same enemy just because the Dev felt like upping suddenly multiplying the creature's damage and health by a ton is fucking horrible, mostly because all you're doing is increasing your stats so you'll be able to survive the enemies' attacks
>griding to improve your weapons actually gives you various different choices in what you want to craft, if you know how the system works you can even more easily become strong as fuck in early, but you NEED to know what you're doing
