because souls is made for casuals which makes it all the more funny how 4chan seethes about it so much. They literally GUTTED boss fight AI in elden ring to appeal to the streamers and shitters whining on reddit.
>godskin delay their heal punish so you can almost always dodge after a sippy even if you are in their face
>crystilians "wait their turn" and fight you 1v1 instead of making you use proper positioning and getting int othe rythm of their fight like on release (seriously the entire boss fight is completely ruined with these changes)
>colossal weapons had their timings and mechanics completely changed because PvP people said they were unviable in pvp and shitters couldnt even make them work in PvE
You can beat these games with "dodge and attack" and people still complain its too hard because a boss might require you to use positioning too. You can also duck, jump, block, parry, to further minmax your performance but most people dont use those things, if those things were REQUIRED then it would filter out like 99% of the player base.
Fromsoft genius in game design is that they have a mechanically complex game where you can actually play it in a very simple way to beat it, aka the age old game design philosophy that was common in the 90s and died out sometime in the mid 2000s "easy to learn, hard to master"
