>patents
Trying to quash a company for releasing an asset flip ARK clone with fakemon as the selling point is fine actually. I've hated the kind of chinkoid copycat development since it started flooding Steam over a decade ago.
>emulators
C&Ding emulator developers who were making patreonbux from piracy of games that were brand new or had been dumped early is understandable. Pirates are some of the most third world coded whiny fags on the planet and they clearly didn't care about emulation as a preservation method. They just want free shit. The devs working on emulation for an audience of pirates while making a profit off patreon deserved to get hit. They weren't in it for the love of the game.
>normal game storage
Higher speed carts and microSD cards make loading times significantly better so this is a tradeoff made for a better experience. Game keycards suck but they're the least sucky way of making everyone barely happy. Storefronts get to remain a part of the business model and third parties can cheap out. Most people prefer digital nowadays anyway.
>80 dollar games
We have one and it's a bundle game. The vast majority of games are $70.
>paid patches
Paid ones add DLC. Most are free.
>poor launch lineup
Nigger we have Mario Kart and Pokemon four months in with a bunch of other smaller games releasing weekly. The Switch 1 library being seamless on the Switch 2 also means you always have something to play which helps fill the gaps. This is so much better than the Switch 1's launch it's not even funny.
