I just finished my first playthrough of RE5 in Veteran and now that I'm finally done with it, I feel like I now have a complicated relationship with the game.
>Playing it on Veteran as my very first time playing the game felt like a huge mistake on a lot of occasions, but it also gave me a pretty good challenge
>Hated the inventory system, but I understand that it was necessary not to pause the game since it's supposed to be a co-op game
>A truckload of enemies on almost every area and many of them were huge damage sponges, this was even worse when the game threw several Lickers at me. I'm so glad the game only had four chainsaw encounters because holy shit they took forever to kill if I didn't want to waste ammo
>Boss fights sucked ass, period
>Pretty much stuck with early-game weapons because everything else came too late. On the other hand, I love me some max crit Handgun for instant headshot kills
Honestly, I'm not looking forward to playing 6 because I really am not a fan of having an AI partner just getting in the way, and I'm definitely playing that one in Normal.
