>games are worse
Most of the Switch entries have been better than previous ones. I guess Animal Crossing is worse than it was on 3DS? But everything else has been better.
>online
NSO is the best deal in gaming if you like retro games. Check the catalog.
>remasters
Mostly Wii U games that people didn't buy the first time. Tropical Freeze is worth $60.
>accessories
These are expensive across the board. Nintendo's have a lower failure rate than Sony's controllers thankfully.
>sales
There are eshop sales constantly. First party games go on sale more rarely than third parties but it's not like it never happens. They just aren't as widely talked about as Steam sales which happen at the same time every year.
>prices
Inflation is the answer here as much as I dislike it.
>keycards
The vast majority of consumers who still buy physical don't notice much of a difference, especially if they come from other consoles. They're the least shit way of keeping everyone kind of happy since people will buy boxed copies making stores and publishers happy, manufacturing costs stay low making publishers happy, and the cart is still sellable making consumers happy. A real cart would obviously be better but at least it's not a code in a box.
