>Much of Nintendo's franchise iterations being worse than yesteryear. Of course this is subjective and depends on the IP in question but Nintendo's franchises haven't really been improving overall in my opinion and have generally gotten worse, and even weirder Nintendo is more obviously chasing trends which they didn't used to do as much
Mario Kart World is great, Donkey Kong Bananza is great, Kirby Air Riders is going to be great, and the next 3D Mario is going to be great.
>Their continually awful online offerings. Admittedly this is SLOWLY gotten better but only due to their terrible dripfeed that has taken way too long to finally make their online somewhat worthwhile. Their online expansion is still overpriced though
Nintendo Switch Online is great. Access to all of the features for one whole year costs less than one Switch 1 blockbuster game. The "dripfeed" is a non-issue because there are so many games to play. You can also get profile icons, GameChat, and other benefits. All of this, for a once-a-year fee of just $50. I know this, because I paid $50 for Nintendo Switch Online, and now, I don't have to worry about paying $50 again for a very long time.
