NTA but since I like to discuss it why not:
>Movement mechanics.
Most of which aren't utilized and the level design doesn't design around. I do like what they have to offer, don't get me wrong
>Level design and world themes.
Probably the game's biggest mixed bag. For every kino like Wooded Kingdom and Metro Kingdom you got duds like Snow Kingdom, Lake Kingdom, and the mediocre like Seaside Kingdom and Lost Kingdom, and the missed potential like Cloud and Ruined kingdom.
>Transformation mechanics/alterations.
This mechanic completely distracts from the platforming so it's actually not at all that fun, especially when much of the transformations aren't that great and limit Mario's abilities too much. Power ups are better for this reason alone.
>Good difficulty curve.
I don't remember it getting that much more difficult later on but I'll take your word for it here
>Broodals are good antagonists.
You're joking right? Right form the start they were always seen a a poor bootleg of the Koopalings. Void Co in Bananza further shows how lame they are. People only like Hariet for the porn
>New enemies are either interesting, cool or in some form appealing.
Don't really have much comment on this since Mario enemies are always pretty easy to dispatch
