I did gift games to anons during Christmas 10 years ago but I stopped. I realized I was wasting my money for a shallow, short dopamina high, when I could use that money to buy something for me or just save it.
There is also the fact that game beggars don't play games that aren't CS or TF2; they just seek a similar dopamine high, the pleasure of getting a gift
