The worst thing the missing TV mode caused is absolutely horrendous events where the gameplay consists out of running back and forth between npcs and the gameplay consisting out of mashing the X button and/or repeating inputs the game shows on screen. Aka the chinese NY event or the current cinema one. Absolutely low as fuck quality.
TV events weren't the greatest, but they were infinitely better than this shit.
