My only issue is when they get rid of all bad traits of the character to make their true selves into this perfect nice person.
Evil woman that stay evil even after falling for the protagonist are peak.
A gacha game I played in the past had one of their character stories with an ending where the protagonist is the one who end up being the one who changes sides and joins up on her world ending plan.
