Eh, veteran can fix the terrible reload times with talents, and you can just shout (or even stealth) to buy yourself some space to reload even if you have just one, or none, of the reload talents. Zealot shouldn't even be using the bolter often enough for reloads to be a big concern.
I'm not overly worried about the staff's performance, it definitely does adequately in aurics, I just find it a slog to use and difficult to keep up with people playing at a faster pace

I guess I'm not used to how much the damn thing slows you down. Maybe I should just start using it with a knife or something to get around quickly.
I still much prefer shock staff for aurics with tards, and trauma or flame otherwise. Then again, I don't like playing psyker all that much anymore.
