Hello. I thought there was a spot on V to discuss Splatoon 3, but I couldn't find anything.
I have insider knowledge on the development of the upcoming entries in the Splatoon franchise. What I know revolves around hardware, marketing and branding.
Splatoon Raiders is an open world single-player campaign. Project Spiral was its previous placeholder name. It is intended to give players a memorable and repeatable experience while testing mechanics and features for the next instalment in the Splatoon franchise.
The game will nativelŠ½ run at 1080p 60fps 120hz and will support Cloud Save. Amiibo figurines can be used during gameplay to assist the player and unlock exclusive content. Release date is planned for early Q4 2025.
The fourth entry in the Splatoon franchise will not be numbered "Splatoon 4". The game is still in its early stages of development and conceptualization while the development team waits for feedback from Splatoon Raiders playtesters. GameChat will be temporarily inaccessible(?)/under maintenance during its launch but will be able to be used during the Testfire. No news on release date.
