I'm not totally anti agile, although it is a problem when EVERYTHING is agile. If you're making a big new critical system and you don't know what you don't know, it's dumb to try and put that in a box, estimate it, and rush it out. It's better to just let a senior dev spend a month on it, not force any arbitrary check ins, and get the fucking thing working as it should. However, on the flip side, some devs are pieces of garbage and need to held accountable. I overall enjoy agile. But like I said, have seen instances where it fucks shit up.
