You completely missed the point. The point is that the Ascians were written into jobbing despite their powers, mindset and advantages going against it happening. All evidence of their successes indicate they could have dealt with Endsinger given the knowledge and prep time. The problem goes back all the way to ARR because they wrote Ascians to be too strong and the only way to stop them was to suddenly make them retarded, much like the Garleans.
